1978's 'Spawn of the Slithis'

I saw this movie Spawn of the Slithis at the drive-in with my brother and dad back in 1978.
If I remember correctly it was a rip off version of Creature From the Black Lagoon (1954) but it was so cheesy that we are still talking about it today. We have never seen it again but I was thinking with all the technology now, that it might be available on DVD, but I can't find it.
Does anybody know if it is available or even know what I'm talking about?
