80s Horror Cave Swimmers

I remember watching a movie back in the mid to late 80's, and all I can remember is a group of kids (possibly a couple of teenagers) that were trying to run away from something and they ran into a cave. The cave had a lagoon in it, but the only way they could get out was to swim underwater beneath part of the cave and one or a couple of the kids was really scared to do that.

This has been driving me nuts! If someone knows the movie, please please please let me know!

It's definately 'Fortress'

The title of this movie is definitely Fortress. I think it is really difficult to track down on DVD though. It took me forever to figure out the name of this movie. I remember seeing it when I was really young and being terrified of all the men with the masks. I think one was a duck, another a cat, one might have been Santa Clause, and I can't remember the fourth. Rachel Ward (The Thorn Birds) plays a teacher for a one room school house in Australia (funny but I don't even remember hearing the accents when I was little).

She and all of her students are taken hostage and locked in a cave by the men and they have to swim thru an underground lake in the cave to get out. I think they are captured again after that but in the end they end up safe and free.

OMG! I'm having the same problem. I think it was a movie where a bunch of kids were kidnapped from a school bus. They were escorted by kidnappers wearing president masks into a cave, and the rest of the movie they were trying to survive.

I can't remember the name either and it's driving me crazy.
