80's Horror Short: Woman Shoots Husband by Accident, He Becomes Zombie

I'm trying to remember the 80's movie or made-for-TV movie about a family visiting a motel, and the owner tells them stories (similar to The Twilight Zone.

One of the stories features the actor who played the uncle in My Girl. He's married and has to work the night shift so he buys his wife a gun for protection. One night she shoots him by mistake thinking he's a prowler (he was trying to wake her because he didn't have his keys to get in), and I believe he comes back as a zombie?
