90s Horror in a Radio Station

I saw on Cinemax sometime in the 90s a movie set mostly in a radio station in the middle of the desert/no where.

The only thing I remember is that there is a killer or monster on the loose. Someone (DJ?) in the lonely radio station is killed... also, we see two women on the road and one of them (or both of them) are killed.

I think one of the surviving women runs into the radio station.

Does anyone know what movie this is?
