Holiday Horror!
Somehow no time of the year can escape the longings of the horror movie fan. Get some Egg Nog and cute little cookies with faces on them, sit down on the couch and take a look at some of these fables of fright:
Black Christmas - Considered by many to be the Slasher Film that set the tone for modern horror. Oh, and Margot Kidder acts like a slut.
Silent Night Deadly Night
- This one was BANNED all over the place. NAUGHTY!
Christmas Evil
- Psycho Santa on a rampage! Very scary and well reviewed...watch this one with plenty of "spike" in your Egg Nog.
One Hell of a Christmas
- Sex, drugs and Christmas carols...LOL
Santa's Slay
- What if Santa was really an evil demon that only gives joy to good little boys and girls because he is being PUNISHED? What happens once he pays his debt?

Horror Shop

Horror New Releases for December 2006
The Horror DVDs are flowing, and there are some great movies coming out that would be a PERFECT stocking-stuffer for that Horror Freak that you worry so much about...
Pulse - Remake of Asian horror. This has been called "The Scariest Film of the Year"...don't know if I agree with that (in a year that included The Descent), but a very good flick nonetheless.
Black Christmas - BHM Contributor Ronnie Angel reviewed this one recently, and it is a very scary ride! This special edition is being released just in time for the holidays!
The Descent - If there was one movie to own this year, The Descent is it. Very scary indeed...
Fair Haired Child
- From the Masters of Horror series, directed by William Malone. I'm not a big fan of this director, but reviews for this entry are strong.
The Wicker Man
- Awesome film from 1975 that deals with Paganism and The Occult head on. Mixed reviews on this particular rendition.
The Wicker Man
- Remake of the classic 1975 film with Nic Cage. Just OK.
Demons Triple Feature
- Includes The Other Hell, Demons III: The Ogre and Black Demons. Black magic, Voo Doo and Zombies...Oh My!
Babette/Monique, My Love
- Not really horror, but racy exploitation from 1969. A guilty pleasure...
New BHM Section, Horror Articles
Best-Horror-Movies.com has you covered for reviews, Best movie lists, Horror Movie Monsters and Heroes - but what about the commentary? The new Horror Article section is VERY popular and already has some GEMS like:
The Female Serial Killer
- A female serial killer can certainly exist, but not often are women the villains in horror movies. Are we just not ready? BHM Contributor Jennifer G. gives her view.
The 5 WORST horror movies of all time
- Written as a counter to the first article of this section,
The 5 worst horror movies and 3 that might surprise you
by Jennifier G. - BHM Contributor Ronnie Angel believes that if you are going to list the worst, then they had better be REALLY CRAPPY!
Ask the Zombie Master
- While this is not a NEW section, it has really taken off in popularity. It seems that there are hundreds of aspiring Zombie Masters out there that just can't get enough of the rantings and wit of our own resident Master Lee Roberts.
