Horror Movie Reviews
We have added a TON great reviews of horror movies on DVD this month! I thought I was hard at work, but the Zombie Master Lee puts me to shame!
Reviews by editor Don S. The Exorcist holds the top spot on the 100 Best Horror Movies list, and for good reason. But, what do you say about a movie that has so much written about it? Well, slamming Linda Blair is always an option... The Shining is one of those horror movies that I can watch again and again and still be scared silly! "All work and no play..." Misery was an instant classic from the day it came to the silver screen. A horror movie without gore? Normally no...but in this case... Darkness Falls - I may never live down my insistance that Darkness Falls be included in the top 20 horror movies. Read here why I am so insistent! Reviews by Zombie Master Lee Alien is a classic horror movie that just happens to be set in space. Don't discount it as "sci-fi". Aliens is the first sequel to Alien, and I loved the result. Lee thinks that they lost the horror and succumbed to the sci-fi thriller temptation. Read what Lee has to say and let us know what YOU think!
![]() From Dusk till Dawn actually won over the Zombie Master, who is NOT a George Clooney fan. April Fools Day is good beginner horror. The Day the Earth Stood Still is a classic with a message. (I am finding reference to this review all over the Internet, by the way. Great job Lee!)
Final Destination
- Lee loved this one, and so do I. We've also got a great interview with the creator of this story,
Jeffrey Reddick
Jeepers Creepers has all of the necessary elements for good horror. Resident Evil is a pretty good horror movie version of a computer game...and has a GREAT heroine!
