Aliens Slow Time to Stop Bullet Fired by Woman from Killing a Man

I'm not sure if this question would fall under the category of Horror, Sci-Fi, Suspense Thriller or a bit of everything.

I remember seeing this movie or short film in the 1970's when I was a young lad and only have a vague recollection of it so some of the details may be a little inaccurate but here goes anyway...

A man walks into a room and is confronted by a woman standing opposite him and holding a handgun. After a short conversation, she shoots him and he is seen falling forwards. Unseen to the man and woman are 2 aliens with some type of control box in front of them. They use the box to make time go backwards to a moment prior to the woman pulling the trigger. They slow time down and allow it to go forward again as they are trying to see what is hitting the man. They do this a number of times until time has been slowed enough that they are able to see the bullet traveling from the gun to the man.

From memory, I think they put something in the man's pocket to stop the bullet from killing him.

That's all I can remember and would greatly appreciate anyone who can tell me what this movie/show was called and particularly where I might be able to find it.
