Always a fan.....now an addict.

After a hockey game at the tender age of eight, I go back to a buddy's house who gets his mom to take us to the movies.
Looking through the newspaper that night, my buddy's mom comes across a movie that she thinks would be great to see, since she saw the original when it first came out and loved it.
Unbenounced to me, I would soon be on my way to my first horror movie - Halloween 4. I can't express to you enough how much it scared me. For three to four months afterward, I would not go in the basement alone or sleep alone. I could no longer watch Unsolved Mysteries because for some reason the theme music sounded hauntingly similar to that of the Halloween 4 (or so I thought - I was only eight).
Ever since then, horror has become my life's blood. I have forever searched for that feeling of pure terror and although I haven't quite matched it, I have ended up watching some great movies along the way.
For some reason, I'm now addicted to the horror craze of the 80's - the constant overflow of 'B' movie horror that flooded the market and the shelves. From Puppetmaster to April Fool's Day to Evil Dead to Ghost Town to Ghoulies to Critters - I can't get enough.
Thankfully strolling through the Internet I found this site. Hopefully I can get some help with those 80's titles that I have forgotten the names of!
