As Car Sinks, Couple Inside Are Talking and Happy

Does anyone remember the name of a late 70's or early 80's film about a drowning?
In one scene, a car falls into the ocean with a couple inside. As the car is sinking, the couple is talking to each other and they are happy.
Later on in the film, a boy a gets a toy car and it looks just like the car that fell in the ocean. The boy takes the toy car and throws it the ocean.
Does anyone know the name of this film?
