Asian Horror - Vision So Terrible That Man Cuts Out His Eyes

There is a Japanese horror movie trailer where a guy (maybe homeless) sees something so horrible in a sewer or underground place that he cuts his eyes out with a knife. I think it came out around the same time as the Grudge.

Does anyone know this one?
