Best Phycological Horrors
by Bradley

I find the best horrors are always the ones that make you think, get you intrigued in the storyline and deliver fantastic plot twists, as well as make you jump out your seat. So here are a few of the best in no particular order:
1. The Mist (2007). A fantastic all round film, with great characters and a fantastic ending.
2. The Sixth Sense (1999). Great acting and storyline, ghosts that stay in your mind for a long time after you've finished watching and probably the best, most moving plot twist I've ever seen in a movie. More of a thriller than a horror, but a must see nevertheless.
3. The Butterfly Effect (2004). Defiantly a brain teaser and fantastic acting all round too.
4. The Ring (2002). Probably the best psychological horror ever made, this film will have you intrigued all the way through. And I find the American re-make does the original justice too.
5. The Shining (1980). For any of you horror fans who somehow haven't seen this film, watch it - now!
6. Physco (1960). Well the name says it all, really.
7. Se7en (1995). Not really a horror, but fantastically brain-teasing anyway.
8. The Silence Of The Lambs (1991). Hannibal Lecter will send shivers down your spine.
