Black and White Horror on a Train

by Alexandra Nixon

This has been driving me crazy for 20 years! When I was young my parents had an old black and white movie on VHS. It was set on a train but I can't remember exactly what it was about. It was a horror/suspense though. Some of the people (zombies maybe) ended up with glowing red eyes. Can anyone tell me what movie this is? I'd love to see it again.

Horror Express is the correct title. It can be found both in black and white and color.

Color, Not B&W
by: Anonymous

Everything Watchman says is correct except for the fact that Horror Express is in color, not B&W.

Other than that, this sounds like your film. Near the end of the movie, an incorporeal, body-jumping alien does indeed ressurect a unit of dead Russian cossacks as zombies with glowing red eyes.

This is an awesome movie. Even if it turns out to be the wrong one, you should check it out!

Sounds like The great Horror Express (which I should review)! Only thing is, it wasn't black and white. Hmmmmmmm

Maybe? But just maybe. . .

Well, this is a guess on my part but from your description I can't help but think of the film "Horror Express," with Telly Savalas, Christopher Lee, and Peter Cushing. It's black and white, it's on a train, and if I'm not mistaken the monster(s) has/have glowing eyes. The version I have was put out by Viking Entertainment in 1986. When the movie was originally filmed I'm not too sure probably late 60's early 70's.
Hope this helped.
