Blind Woman Awakens To House Full of Murder Victims

This movie took place either in the '60s or '70s where a blind young woman wakes up in her house (or her friend's house) and thinks her friend is still sleeping, and the family members are too, but we see that they've been murdered.
She eventually discovers that they are dead and can't get help b/c the phone lines have been cut and she's way out in the country. I believe the killer is still around, but my memory bank stops there. Though I do remember being terrified for her. I want to say it's a British film, but can't find anything!
