Body Jumper Horror Movie

Hi, I'm looking for a movie I don't remember much about. I do know that the villain can jump from body to body for a limited time, and narrates the movie.

The protagonist traps the jumper in a forest area and is smoking poison so that the villain has to jump into his body else he will die due to his limited time. But if he jumps into the antagonist, he will die as well. He escapes by jumping into the body of a cat.

Anyone know which movie this is??
