British Couple Moving Abroad Haunted by Old Couple

The movie I can't remember the name of is British and from the 80's.

A young couple is at a hotel celebrating his new job abroad. When they go up to their room there's an old lady in the bed, and her daughter is sitting next to her saying 'it's okay mum, I'll get help.' Confused, the couple contacts reception, and a man comes up to check but there's no one there but the couple. The couple later sits down on the bed and realize the old woman's walking stick is still standing against the radiator.

They return home to pack up their flat as the are moving abroad. They hear weird things and the mother and daughter keep popping up and the daughter repeats the same words about getting help.

Their best friends live in the same building, and the man is into practical jokes. One day an old fashioned birdcage is suddenly in the living room. The woman thinks that the friend is behind this and calls him. He knows nothing about it. Then the almost emptied flat is suddenly filled with old furniture.

Their last night in the flat turns into an absolute nightmare. They are seeing this old couple where the lady is mistreated and murdered by her husband. They open the freezer and the lady is in it. They are running around like crazy thinking they are having the same nightmare or seeing a flashback to something that happend earlier in the flat.

The next morning, the are having breakfast with their friends. Afterwards they are asked if they would like to meet the new tenants and yes, it is the old couple! So it was not a flash back, more a flash foreward!

Could someone please tell me the name of the movie and other info, perhabs the name of the actors?
