B&W Horror Monster Mates with Tied Up Woman

I'm trying to remember the name of a 50's or early 60's black and white monster b-movie where the monster mated with and killed it's victim that was tied up like a sacrifice. I think that is was called "The Monster of . . ." (some strange Spanish island name).
Does that sound familiar to anyone?
