B&W: Mom Tries To Bury Evil Doll in Back Yard

When I was young I remember a black and white movie or short coming on television about a little girl living in the south, and an evil doll.
The mother hated this doll and at one point buries it in the backyard. The little girl digs it up.
It may have been an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents, The Twilight Zone or Tales from the Darkside (although not the Twilight Zone episode where the doll is thrown in the trash can - I saw that one just a few months ago).
