B&W: Natives Yell "Kawabunga" to Make Trees Kill People

Help! I'm trying to find the name of a movie I saw as a child 40 years ago. Of course it was in black and white.

The movie was about killer trees in the jungle. Weirdly dressed (native) men would yell something like "kawabunga" and the trees would grab and kill people.

To this day I remember it as the scariest movie I've seen. Does anyone know what this is?
