B&W: Woman Melts in Bathtub

I remember watching an old black & white movie that involves a woman taking a bath, and literally melting as if the water is acid.

There are numerous people in the house that die mysteriously, and the bodies disappear.

In the end, the people come back as ghosts. The main character wakes up as if from a terrible dream.
