A couple of answers for ya. Although I know of no recorded efforts in successfully 'fooling' a zombie, some actions are known to allow persons to walk among the dead for short periods of time. It usually ends with a zombie buffet so attempt at your own risk.

Even though zombies can't really swim, they can walk on the bottoms of rivers, lakes, and oceans and normally just drift around with the currents. So even if you are on some deserted island somewhere, you still may have a zombie wash up on shore. Rule #1: Always be prepared.

I was wondering how zombies know not to attack one another? Can you fake a zombie out (dressing up as one, like in Zombieland?). They surely can't swim right?

Thanks a bunch for answering my questions. I'm just trying to get my zombie plan perfect.

you might have about zombies can be answered by reading Max Brook's 2 books about zombies. The Zombie Survival Guide is an excellent handbook on every topic dealing with zombies and survival from zombies. The other book, World War Z, givs the reader some insight as to what happens during an outbreak with several different stories from many different people and locations. Go down to your local library or bookstore and get both of them. NOW!! Before it's too late.
