Child Stabs Baby With Butter Knife

There's a black & white film about a young child who stabs his (or her?) baby brother (or sister?) to death in a cradle with a butter knife.

I just read a reference to a 1973 movie called The Baby but, trust me, that's not it.

Does anyone know what movie I'm talking about?
