Circle of Salt Blocks a Ghost Horse

I saw a movie when I was a teenager in the early 70's - some time between 70 and 73. The movie involved a group of people locked in a house and at one point they made a circle of salt to block a ghost horse from getting to them.

That's all I remember and am having a hell of a time figuring out the title of the movie.

ANY help would be good!

Could this be the movie? They are in a protective circle and are being threatened by the Spirit of Death, a figure in black who rides a winged black horse.

yeah my father also used to watch it, it's called ghost horse apparently but i can't find it anywhere.

I remember seeing this movie also. I have had no luck in finding the title. i was starting to think it was all my imagination.
