Cloverfield Release Party in New York City January 17, 2008

The Promotion Engine for the new horror release Cloverfield is heating up with some cool activities.

The film will release on January 17th 2008 and it seems that there is also a man who worked on the film, known only as "Rob", who is moving to Japan shortly thereafter. So what do the folks involved in Cloverfield do? Throw a huge party in New York City, that's what...and invite 200 people who visit their MySpace page.

I looked on IMDb and the only "Rob" I could find is Robert Reed Altman, the camera operator...so I think that's the Rob moving away. Cloverfield and Myspace are throwing a surprise party for Rob in New York City! Join us next Thursday night, January 17th for a send off for our buddy Rob, he is moving to Japan! There will be drinks, dancing, and tons of cool people. It will be a party to remember!
