1973 British movie called 'Nightmare' aka 'Voices'

Hello,
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. It stars Gayle Hunnicutt and David Hemmings. It is a haunting ghost story!
The scene opens with a couple on a boat who have a young son. While the couple are making love on their boat their young son drowns. Unable to deal with the tragedy it drives a wedge into their relationship. After the wifes stay in a sanitorium for attempted suicide, the couple decides to go see a house the wife recently inherited. During their drive the fog is very thick and the husband narrowly misses hitting an oncoming car and hits a tree. The couple seek shelter in an abandoned old home. Shortly thereafter, the wife starts seeing and hearing a boy, girl and a woman from another time. When the couple finally decides to leave the house and go back to their car, they find out they are dead; their car had indeed crashed into a tree and their bodies were still in the car!
