Creature Hatched on Oil Rig

When I was a child I saw a horror movie that took place on an oil rig. While drilling they found some sort of alien egg or eggs. I think they tried hatching them in an incubator of some sort.

The creature that hatched reminded me of something similar to the one in the first "Xtro" movie but it was pale in color. This movie may have been in the 70's on TV. I don't think it was from the 80's at all.

Can anyone help me with the name of this movie??
