I think I know what movie you're talking about. I watched it a few years ago with my mate (he doesn't know what I'm talking about). It really creeped me out.

It was <)em>Darkness (2002). A girl has to collect children's souls before they get her first.

Aw man, that feeling stinks.

I spent a few days trying to figure out the name of a movie that the only thing I had to go by was that it had something to do with spaceships, a creepy recording with people screaming in it, and a long cylindrical hallway futuristic thingy.

It turned out to be Event Horizon, which I figured out because of this site's top 100 list, so thanks btw.
