Cut Scene from 'The Haunting'?

When I was a young girl, my father and I watched the classic and very terrifying The Haunting (1963) on a local TV channel. Years later I saw it again (and now as an adult I see it on Halloween again and again) but it seems different.

When Eleanor and Theo look out the window at one point in the movie, I swear they see dogs running through the garden at night. This is after the scene with the statue.

Am I crazy? Was this scene cut from the film? Or am I thinking of another film? This has bugged me for decades!!
