Dad's Girlfriend Has Alien in her Trying to Get to Daughter Em...?

I remember watching an early 90's horror movie where this woman comes into a father-daughter family by dating the dad.
She seems normal at first but in the end we realize she has an alien living inside her trying to get to the daughter.
The daughter's name was Emily or Emmy.
Can anyone tell me what movies this is?
