Dear Zombie Master: 1st Person Zombie Film

Dear Zombie Master,

My cousin Joel and I were out one night and came up with the traditional idea of Zombie films and how it would be amazing to do a ‘Blair Witch’ style 1st person take from our view. We got so into this concept that we have been researching, studying and just watching 1st person films and amazing Zombie films, and the idea of making one just seems perfect :)

So our questions to you, the Zombie Master, are:

1) Do you have any tips that you personally relish from Zombie films that would be good for a 1st person zombie film?

2) What style of Zombie should be featured (i.e. Green classic, gory and rotten, red eyed and evil)?

I like your idea but I think I am more inspired by your age. It thrills me no end just knowing that there are young people to pass to torch to.

As to the answers to your questions:
1) Being a fan of Lucio Fulci, I believe it would be interesting to see the camera operator have something stuck in his eye.
2) Also being a Fulci fan, I tend to lean more toward the gory and rotten zombies.

Don't get me wrong; I am a certified Romero freak but I am also a certified Fulci freak and I like the gory zombies more.
