Dear Zombie Master: Cure for Paralysis?
by Vaula
(Helsinki, Finland)
Dear Zombie Master,
I totally adore zombie movies and I have watched quite a few of them. There's one question that has been bothering me, though.
If a paralyzed person gets bitten by a zombie, would he or she be able to walk/move/run after turning into a zombie? Because if there's nothing wrong with his body, but it's just a fault in his brain that he cannot for example move his legs, wouldn't there be a possibility that when the zombie virus conquers his brain, he would be able to walk again?
Vaula
Vaula,
Any disability that is present before death will still be present during undeath. You see, zombification merely reanimates - it does not cure/fix. In other words, if you died blind, you would still be blind if you came back. Likewise if you died paralyzed, no matter how much it would totally suck, you would be a paralyzed zombie when you came back.
Good hunting and aim high,
The Zombie Master
