Dear Zombie Master: Physiology Question
by Raalah
(Israel)
Dear Zombie Master,
Zombies have the same basic physiology of regular living humans. How do they function without feeding as often as humans?
Thank you and may your shotgun never fail!
Raalah
Raalah,
Although it may appear so, zombies actually do not have the same physiology of their living counterparts. In the case of the zombie, there is no physical function required for animation to exist. The only chemical function required is the one that controls the rudimentary brain functions necessary for reanimation. This is the main reason why you must damage the brain in order to stop a zombie. The brain is the only thing that is keeping the animation process going.
Good hunting and aim high,
The Zombie Master
