Dear Zombie Master: Why the Immediate Jagged Teeth?

Dear Zombie Master,
Why is it that new / recently-turned Zombies always seem to have jagged teeth? With older Zombies it makes sense as they have been gnawing on things for a while, but new Zombies should still have nice pearly whites, yes?

I'm sorry that I do not have a more physiological answer for you, but I think it really only has to do with the advancements in what is available to the FX guys on the cheap.
