Dear Zombie Master: Zombie Apocalypse and 2012

Dear Zombie Master,

I've heard of Zombie apocalypses, or in other words movies where almost everyone you meet in the street is a zombie. My question is does this have anything to do with the actual end of the world prophesized for 2012?

The 2012 end-time hypothesis comes from the fact that the end date of the 5125 year Mayan calender happens to be 12/21/2012. Now I tend to lean toward one of two explanations for this depending on the mood I am in when the discussion rears its head. Either 1. the Mayan calender maker could not foresee any one living longer than 5125 years so he gave up, or 2. the Mayan calender maker died on the day he wrote down 12/21/2012 and he had no apprentice to continue his work.

The Zombie Apocalypse however is coming and since no one knows when it will occur it is best to remember that there will only be two types of people when it does occur: survivors and victims.
