Dear Zombie Master: Zombie Movies for Kids?

Dear Zombie Master,
I have a 6 year old nephew who loves zombies. I'm not sure how he found out about them, but he knows I like them and is always asking me questions about them. I want to show him zombie stuff, but the only thing I can think to show him is that Simpson's Halloween episode, 'Dial 'Z' for Zombies.' We watched it twice and he can already repeat parts of the episode word for word.
Anyway, I figured if there was anybody who could recommend some more kid-friendly zombie stuff, it'd be you. Anything from kid TV shows to PG movies would be great, especially something where the zombies cry out 'Braaaaaaains' (he loves that). I'm sure this topic could be helpful to lots of other people too. Thanks a lot!
Eric
Eric,
Wow. A 6 year old zombie freak. Well, I never really looked to films to introduce youngsters to the wonderful world of zombies. I always leaned more towards the graphic novels, such as Marvel Zombies, The Walking Dead and the old Marvel character Simon Garth (Tales of the Zombie - early 70's, and Zombie: Simon Garth - late 2006).
You can try Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (I thought is was ok but I dig Scooby). There is a great South Park episode entitled 'Night of the Living Homeless' (hilarious).
If he has gotten into video games you can introduce him to Stubbs. There is also a text-based MMO called Urban Dead but this might be above a 6 year old's head.
If you are into pen-and-paper RPG's then All Flesh Must Be Eaten is awesome and the campaigns can be tailored to his age group.
When you feel he is old enough you can introduce him to Fido, Shaun of the Dead and the original Dawn of the Dead. All three give the full zombie feel in a light-hearted way (Dawn being the lesser of the three in the "light-hearted" category).
I hope this has helped.
Good hunting and aim high,
The Zombie Master
