Decapitation and Girl Bouncing Ball

Years ago, I saw a movie where a man kept driving the same roads through a town at night, I believe in a Ferrari, trying to get away from something. He'd also been seeing images of a little girl bouncing a ball over and over, with a creepy smile on her face.

The man finally came to a pit that he couldn't drive over, looked down and saw the little girl at the bottom. He backed up the car, then tried to leap over the pit in it, only to be decapitated by a wire across the pit. The next shot is of the little girl, picking up his bloody head by the hair at the bottom of the pit.

Does anyone know what movie this is?
