Demon Horror Ending in Old, Partly Burned Down Church in Woods

Hello fellow horror fans. I`m looking for a late 70's or 80's very dark horror film set in the woods about a demon that grows in strength.

The demon is a tall, skinny, pale thing - but strong. At one point he throws a motor bike away or at someone.

He starts out burying something in the woods - a dead baby or maybe a knife with blood on it - and from this gains his form.

The ending takes place in an old, partly burned down church in the woods.
