Demon in Birdcage Grants Wishes

There was a horror movie about a little demon in a birdcage that I can't remember the title of.

The demon had to fulfill wishes for some teenagers like 'make me good looking' or 'give me a car'. Eventually though their wishes would turn bad and they would become ugly or their car would turn to goo.

That sounds like the made-for-TV movie The Darkling (2000).

'The Gate II'

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of is The Gate II: Trespassers. They capture this little demon and put him in a cage. Then they ask for a car but the next day it's covered with poo. Then they ask for money and go to a nice restaurant, but when they put the money on the table it turns to poo.

I haven´t seen this movie, but my Dad told me the exact same story about the demon and the wishes.

I remember him telling me that one of the boys wanted to have X-ray vision to see the girls naked but the evil demon made him see just the skeleton.

I remember it is the first chapter of a three-story collection.

Maybe this is a clue for somebody else.

It must be mid or late 80s.
