Demon Samurai Warriors

During an academy award show back in the 1980's, clips were shown of Asian horror films. I remember a man in a church and all of a sudden the figures in the stained glass came to life out of the windows, and flying around the church were these Japanese demon samurai warriors. Does anyone have a CLUE to what this fabulous looking film may have been?

Shaolin vs. Evil Dead (Shao Lin Jiang Shi)(2004)
Groovy! Ash is nowhere to be found fighting these Evil Dead; however, Taoist priests Gordon Liu and Terry Fan seem to have the situation well in hand!
