Demon Under Stairs In Apartment Building Rapes Woman

Trying to remember the name of a film set in an apartment building where a man who moves in can hear a woman screaming and sees her on the landing of the staircase.

A demon is holding the woman captive under the stairs and drags her under when the man tries to save her. We can hear the woman screaming under the stairs, and I believe the demon is raping her.

Any ideas?
