Different World Behind the Bathroom Window

I'm not really sure if you guys can help me or not but I wanted to at least try. I remember watching two movies (or possibly the same movie for all I know) as a child and cannot remember the names now.

In one movie all I remember is that some people remove a mirror from a bathroom wall and behind it is a whole other world. They climb through and that's really all I remember...

The other is about a woman who is going to give birth to a demon. A shaman of sorts shows up and puts a ring of sand or ash or something around her bed so that the demon can't get out when she gives birth but you see the sand slowly part away because it's not strong enough to hold the demon.

So there you go, that's all I remember about both of them. Anyone have any clues?
