Dismembered Woman Kept Alive in Box

I saw this mesmerizing movie back in the '80s centered around a man who kidnaps a woman and slowly removes her limbs over a long period of time, and she becomes attached to her tormentor.

Any ideas?

Boxing Helena (1993)

IMDb synopsis:
A surgeon (Julian Sands) becomes obsessed with the seductive woman (Sherilyn Fenn) he once had an affair with. Refusing to accept that she has moved on, he amputates her limbs and holds her captive in his mansion.
