This was with Peter Lorie (town drunk) and Vincent Price (wine taster). Price falls in love with Lorie's wife and when Lorie finds out, he ties them both up and conceals them behind a brick wall he builds in his basement. I don't remember if he killed them first. The police show up a few days later and I believe the cat leads them to the bodies.

Hi,
I believe the Answer to your question would be the movie called Castle Of Blood (1964). I was looking for the very same flick and did some in depth research to get an answer - it was driving me crazy too as I'd been looking for quite a while to find this one. It was directed by Antonio Margheriti based on Poe's 'Danse Macabre'. This film also stars George Riviere as Alan Foster -the man who takes the dare to spend the night in the manor. Hope this is the right info you are looking for and that it helps!
