Evil Genie Kills Teenagers in Museum

Does anyone recall an 80's or 90's horror film about a killer genie?
A girl finds the genie and is granted wishes. She goes to a party in a museum and the genie makes the museum come alive. The problem is it starts killing all her friends.
In the end, she wishes her father dead because she's mad at him and the genie takes her seriously and is going to kill him.
Sound familiar? It's not Wishmaster (1997).
