Original
air date: January 6, 2006
Directed by: William Malone
Written by: Matt Greenburg
Starring:
Lori Petty as Judith
William Samples as Anton
Lindsay Pulsipher as Tara
Jesse Haddock as Johnny
Synopsis: Tara (Jesse Haddock) is a
teenager that seems to be wanted by no one. A loner, Tara becomes the
perfect target for a creepy guy to stalk and kidnap in Fair-Haired
Child. Come to find out, there is a couple behind her
kidnapping - a couple who intends to use her as a sacrifice to an evil
entity in exchange for bringing there dead son back to life. I just
hate it when that happens. Well Tara has different plans and just might
turn the tables.
Thoughts: William Malone (House on Haunted Hill, Fear Dot Com) does not immediately come to mind when you think of a “Master of Horror”. As a matter of fact, his additions to the horror genre can be labeled as mediocre at best. That being said, Fair-Haired Child is the best work that Malone has done. He has taken a good story and a great ensemble of actors and created an hour of real entertainment in Fair-haired Child. I don’t want to jinx him, but if Fair-Haired Child is any indication it looks like Malone may be figuring it out. Questions or comments about Fair-Haired Child? Contact us!
