'The Sentinel'

Just scanned through it on NetFlix and confirmed that The Sentinel is definitely the movie.

Scared the wits out of me the one and only time I saw it! Enough to have burned that image of naked ladies in a closet into my brain for 30 years. Of course, I was only about eight at the time.

I found the closet scene, and suprisingly, although there is only one naked fat lady and no old man, there was a rat!

That's totally it. I had completely forgotten about the blind priest, but once you mentioned him it all came back to me. Thank you for solving a 30 year old mystery!

'Sentinel' (1977)

This has Chris Sarandon in it. A young girl gets an apartment in an old building and there is a blind priest on the top floor always looking out the window.

She hears noises in the upstairs empty apartment and goes to investigate She sees the image of her father and two naked hookers in one of the rooms.
Her father is very old and one of the hookers is fat.

I did not rememeber the rats.
