Forever Horror

I've always loved scary movies. When I was little, I always wanted to watch them, but the scary images would keep me up all night.

As I grew older, I strayed away from the horror genre, and into drama. Even still, I preferred a scarier drama over a tear-jerking drama.

Just recently, I've been completely drawn to horror movies again. No other genre will do. My friends always make comments about how I'll turn out to be a murderer someday because I watch so many gory movies.

Funny, I can watch gory movies all day, but when it comes to blood and gore in real life, count me out!

Now, I really only prefer older versions of movies. They seem to be the only true horror pictures and the only ones I can rely on to give me a good scare. Zombie flicks are my big thing now. I read zombie books and watch all the movies. I'm completely obsessed with anything having to do with horror and gore.

My favorite masters of horror are George A. Romero (of course), Tim Burton, and Edgar Allan Poe.
