Gargoyle Sits With Man's Head in Mouth

I saw this movie a long time ago with my sister, I think its a haunted house movie.

The only thing I can remember was a man running out of a house thinking he got out, he looks up and sees a gargoyle statue sitting in its usual position. The next scene shows a woman or a group of people chasing after him and they don't see him, but when they look up and see the gargoyle statue, it is still sitting in its normal position however it is holding the man's decapitated head in its mouth.

Does anyone know what this movie is?
