Ghost in the Attic Attacks Man With Wires

I am looking for a good 80's movie about a ghost in the attic, the movie that made me fall in love with horror.
A mother, father and two children move to a big house in the country. The father starts to hear sounds, and the wallpaper begins to peel off the walls. The mother doesn't belive him, leaves and takes the childern.
The man realizes there's a ghost in the attic. When he goes up to the attic, wires fly and twist around him. As he's thrown around, the camera follows him like a helmet camera.
Can someone please help me find this movie? I'd like to see it again if it's as scary as I remember.
