Awesome! Thanks, Here Is Some More 80's Horror...

Thanks! I am glad this place is full of like minded fans of classic horror films, even TV ones that seemed scarier & eerier as a kid. I have been looking for the title of this film for years. The last time I had seen it was in high school. Great movie. Thanks again.

Another great one dealing with the ghost of a girl is Lady in White (1988). I guarantee you will like it; let alone some of you may remember it. It is about a young boy and his family in New York state; his contact with the ghost of a little girl and the mystery surrounding her death. Classic.

For another film about the paranormal and kids dealing with death, check out 1985's Making Contact" aka Joey. There is a freaky looking, disturbing ventriloquist dummy and the ending is very memorable if you saw it as a kid.

Another great one that freaked me out a little as a boy is Ray Bradbury's, Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983). You would never guess it was made by Disney as disturbing as it is.

Last, but not least here is a short list of other forgotten 80's horror:

Still one of my all time favorite B horror films from 1984, Silent Night, Deadly Night. The sequel to this is well known due to the popularity of the YouTube clip, "Garbage Day". Only watch the first two, the others are crap.

1985's The Stuff (killer yogurt basically.

1988's Bad Dreams (definitely freaked me out as a kid).

1988's Prison (Viggo Mortenson's first film, totally spooky when I was a boy). There is a scene where a guy is locked in solitary confinement and catches on fire...the guy is screaming and his shoes literally are melting and sticking to the floor...very disturbing).

Wow! I thought I was the only person in the whole world who remembers this film. I watched it as a young girl, we had it on Betamax video lol, and it's stayed in my memory ever since. I'm sure it's called Don't Look Under the Bed or Don't Go To Sleep - that's a film with Donald Sutherland about the ghost of his daughter wearing a red coat. But I need to find this film...soon!

I remember well

Yes they were two girls and a boy, and the grandma said 'how about one more for the road'.On the way home the boy tied the girls shoe laces together, the car crashed and she couldn't get out and it exploded. So she comes back to haunt them, and the other girl is the only one who can see her and she gets blamed for everything, until the end when the ghost shows herself to the mother. It's called Don't Look Under The Bed and it came out around the same time as Motel Hell (1980).

Hmmmm

Audrey Rose (1997) maybe? I haven't seen it, I just remember the cover had a little girl trapped inside a car, and know the ghost torments another little girl. Hopefully this helps, although I could be way off base.
