Giant Brain Monster Attacks Woman and Causes Hallucinations

I remember a horror movie where a teenage girl is attacked by a giant brain monster. She grabs a pair of scissors and stabs the brain tentacle that is holding her.

It turns out she is stabbing the maid or a family member and she's hallucinating. Apparently the giant brain monster causes hallucinations.

Anyone know what the hell I am talking about?
